The school board voted tonight to proceed with the bond issue.
If approved, the bond issue would also fund extensive renovations and expansion at some or all of the existing campuses. The district’s student population has grown by about 14 percent in the past decade, said Dr. Kim Stasny, the district’s superintendent.
Oxford High School and two other schools are already above their capacity.
