UPDATE: Two men arrested on burglary counts

TUPELO – Police charged two men with multiple counts of auto burglary Friday.

Otis L. Palmer, 20, and Derrick R. Hughes, 18, are being held on $10,000 after both were charged with three counts of auto burglary. The thefts mostly took place in the Cedar Point Subdivision and involved mainly audio equipment, GPS units and wallets.

Both men are still in custody.

And on top of stealing items out of my cars they damaged two compartments. Fixing those will cost more than the items they stole. Thieves are the lowest... coming in like cowards at night to take from people who work hard for the things they have. Kudos to Tupelo Police department for fast work and getting my belongings back! Thanks!
