Lee County Library to host Story Time

- Story Time will return to the Lee County Library in Tupelo at 10 a.m. today.

Dance workshops set for next two weeks

- North Mississippi Dance Center has two weeks of intensive dance workshops scheduled.

They’ll run from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Monday to July 23 and from July 26-30 at 3480 Browning Drive, Tupelo.

King on tap to review ‘Myrtle Beach’ today

- Luther King will review “Myrtle Beach” at noon today in Pontotoc.

Ole Miss will host scene painting class

- Theater lovers are invited to attend a workshop on painting scenes from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the University of Mississippi’s Meek Auditorium.

Faulkner conference will open on Sunday

- The 37th Faulkner and Yoknapatawpha Conference will be Sunday to July 22 at the University of Mississippi.

Events will include lectures, literary discussion, screening of movies based on Faulkner’s work, tours and parties.
