Sam Summerford, a catcher and first baseman from Fulton; B.J. Johnson, a right-handed pitcher from Fulton; and Dustin Lunn, a catcher from Pontotoc, will be a part of the Toppers inaugural baseball program this fall when it begins play in the NAIA TranSouth Athletic Conference.
“All three of these young men are really good players from one of the best community college programs around,” BMC coach Curt Fowler said. “They’ll give us a level of maturity right off the bat that we’ll need when we jump into the TranSouth.”
Johnson and Lunn are 2009 ICC alumni who will transfer to BMC from the University of West Alabama
