The game was originally scheduled for March 2 but got rained out.
South Alabama was 23-13 heading into Tuesday night’s game against Nicholls State. The Jaguars, who lead the Sun Belt Conference in hits and are second in RBIs, are paced at the plate by third baseman Jake Overstreet, who’s batting .390 and has a league-leading 54 RBIs.
Starting on the mound tonight for MSU will be freshman left-hander Luke Bole (1-0, 7.56 ERA). He’ll be opposed by junior righty Lance Brown (1-2, 9.53).
