PONTOTOC – Process Technology Services LLC must use arbitration to try to get back its investment in controversial biodiesel refiner MIPCO.

Chancellor Jacqueline Mask today ordered the direction after attorneys for both sides argued their case before her a couple of weeks ago in Pontotoc.

PTS of North Carolina said the court should order MIPCO of Aberdeen to return its $365,000 investment, alleging that MIPCO officials fraudulently obtained PTS' involvement by lying about their expertise for success and about their personal investments in the fledgling company.

MIPCO argued that its investment agreement required arbitration, when disputes arose.
