State, working mostly on the artificial turf fields, certainly felt the effects of the wind in passing and kicking drills. But Mullen's never been one to quickly retreat to the indoor Palmeiro Center across campus.
"We'll have to play in rain or snow or whatever, so we'll practice in it too," he said.
