UPDATE: Cowboy Mouth, Paul Thorn to play Elvis Fest

Cowboy Mouth, Paul Thorn and Robert Earl Keen will headline this year’s Tupelo Elvis Festival, organizers confirmed today.

The opening acts have not been finalized yet, according to Daphene Hendricks at the Downtown Tupelo Main Street Association, which produces the festival.

I don't understand why they can't get better talent at a festival named for a man who dozens artists say has influenced their careers.

All I can chalk it up to is poor marketing/management by the festival organizers.
