The MSU-Jackson State winner will play the winner of the North Carolina-William & Mary game.

Ole Miss will meet Troy in the first round of the NIT. Second-seeded Ole Miss will face regular-season Sun Belt Champion and No. 7 seed Troy (20-12) in the opening round Wednesday at 7 p.m. CT at Tad Smith Coliseum.

The Ole Miss-Troy winner would play the winner of Memphis vs. St. John's.

Gregg Ellis the basketball media contact for Miss. State just Tweeted this ... "Due to being the No. 1 seed, Mississippi State will play its first three games at home."

Based on that if they both won then UNC would come to Starkville.

What I just read said, "games played on champus site with highest seed". From that I would say yes.. They don't move it to Madison Square Garden till they get to the final four.

MS State is a # 1 seed, so if they win they would host until the semifinals in NY. Ole Miss is a #2 seed. If they both continue to win, OM and State would not meet until the finals. www.nit.org

If State wins, and North Carolina too. Do they play in Starkville?
