Man charged in child porn case

TUPELO – Police have charged Kirby Lackey, 40, with possession of child pornography.

Lackey, of 2016 Winfield Drive, was arrested Thursday as a result of a joint effort by Tupelo police and the Mississippi Attorney General’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit. Capt. Chuck Bunn said investigators used a combination of new technologies to track down Lackey.

Two computers taken from the residence are being analyzed, according to Bunn.

Lackey’s bond was set at $50,000.

Yes he is a filty animal - preying on innocent children - the pictures he so readily looked at represents tragedy in a little childs life - he always seemed somewhat creepy to me..

tupeloeveryday- It's not a mistake. The guy mowed several yards here in Tupelo and seemed to be a great guy. But you never know what people are doing behind closed doors. I feel sorry for his wife and step children who are devistated I'm sure.
