Ella Kelly from the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People will address the board at the meeting, which begins at 6:30 p.m. The organization requested to be placed on the board's agenda.
The district has been under heat after substitute teacher and bus driver Marilyn Ellis used a racial slur to a group of students. She was initially suspended for two days from substituting last month but remained in her position as a bus driver.
Ellis was fired from both jobs this week, and Superintendent Steve Coker confirmed that she is no longer working with the district.
It is unclear exactly what Kelly's message will be. She directed a question about what she would speak about to fellow NAACP member Benny Horton. Horton did not return a message seeking comment.
It is also unclear which branch of the organization Kelly represents.
Coker said that there is not a hearing, appeal or any other procedure related to Ellis on the agenda for Monday.
Efforts to reach Ellis for comment were unsuccessful.

two gone...maybe they should charge admission. This will be quite comical.
NAACP....KKK....preach hate equally. Jesus Christ was spit on and beat. He didn't call nobody in. You don't use God's house to preach your drama/judgement.
God help the USA.
Blacks and whites are so busy playing pity stuff til they haven't seen other races are coming in here and taking over. I'll be the minority and let somebody else take care of me. I'll draw a check and go get my nails done and have my cell phone at others expense. Heck yeh!!
I've worked hard to raise my kids without assistance and won't ever get to retire and receive anything I've paid in! I get to watch others spend it.
We should all stand as a united front and see what could happen. Leave your nasty thoughts at the door. God loves us all. He ain't out preaching and whining cuz somebody hurt his feelings.
The indians had it pretty rough too.
First of all let me say this: I agree that the teacher should not have said this in a classroom full of children. Surely she was intelligent enough to know what would happen as a result of her actions.
However, she was just calling him what he said his name was. He probably thought that is a common name in the black community as much as they call each other that.
There shouldn't be a double standard. Either it's ok for everyone to use the word, or it isn't ok for anyone to use the word.
I wonder who would come to my defense if a black teacher called me a cracker? hmm....
i hope the parents of this rude, badly brought up student are there and he is made to apologize for his bad behavior.
i hope he was punished by his family for using the "n" word since it is so bad.
i won't hold my breath.
