UPDATE: Log truck overturns in Tupelo

A log truck turned over at Highway 78 at 178 around 8:40 a.m. this morning, according to Tupelo Police Department Lt. Tim Clouse. The Tupelo Police Department reports westbound Highway 78 traffic is now open.

No one was injured.

A front tire on the log truck blew out causing the accident.

There are still logs in the median, but a company will be out to pick them up later. Traffic is moving again.
