BLUE MOUNTAIN – Two of the country’s best NAIA teams will face Blue Mountain College this afternoon in a TranSouth Athletics Conference doubleheader on the BMC campus.

The Lady Toppers will face the No. 1 Union University Lady Bulldogs at 2 p.m., and the Toppers will face the 18th-ranked Bulldogs at 4 p.m.

The BMC women, 8-10 overall, are coming off their first TSAC win in four games – at Martin Methodist – while the Union women, 6-0 in the league, have won 19 in a row since a season-opening setback at Vanderbilt.

The Lady Bulldogs, the defending NAIA national champions, have been on top of the national rankings for 30 consecutive weeks.

The Toppers (0-4, 0-20), will face the defending TSAC champion Bulldogs (14-6, 5-1).
