From an SEC standpoint the problem is underage kids in an establishment that serves alcohol and exploits women. Both SEC violations.

They are not your normal college students. They are student-athletes on scholarship and are bind by certain rules, policies, and regulations different from regular students.

Mississippi State Athletics Director Greg Byrne stated that the incident was “deemed impermissible by our recruiting rules and regulations.”

“Our compliance department has concluded its review of the incident, and determined that the breach of policy was isolated, and will not affect the eligibility or future eligibility of any of those involved.”

It was before my time, but I thought this is what got Billy Brewer on probation and fired? Does anyone remember that or know what Brewer was really accused of?
