The recent events that have taken place in Tiger Woods life have been on every news channel and the punch line to many jokes. I must say the jokes are funny, but Tiger Woods is still the greatest golfer of all time.

I know the recent events has ruined his clean cut image, but who cares what he does in his personal life.

I don’t agree with what he has done off the course but I don’t agree with drug use and I still like Jimi Hendrix.

Tiger Woods has made a fortune playing a game that is considered boring to most people and being a spokesman for many different companies.

He got all those sponsors because he was an amazing golfer, not because he was a good guy.

If they pull all his sponsors and continue to drag him through the mud for his mistakes in his personal life, I will still root for him when he returns to the course.

I’m glad that the normal jobs of the world aren’t affected by the workers mistakes in their personal lives.

If that were the case, there would be a lot of people in the world working for free, including Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis who was accused of killing a guy earlier in his career.

The mistake of Lewis being at the wrong place at the wrong time has been forgotten as he continues to play outstanding ball in the NFL.

I think once Tiger returns to the game, all of his mistakes will be forgotten and he will be the best golfer this earth has every seen.

Despite the scandal, Woods was named Athlete of the Decade by the Associated Press, an award he deserves.

He had 56 PGA victories in the decade along with 12 majors and 64 total wins around the world.

A lot of people think he doesn’t deserve it because of recent events but it’s the Athlete of the Decade award, not husband of the decade.

What he has done on the course over the past ten years has earned him the right to be the Athelete of the Decade and secured his place as a golf legend.

That’s my opinion, now I want to hear yours, email me at sports@itawamba360.com and the best one will be run on our website (itawamba360.com).
