The Mississippi Health Department says the vaccines are free at all county health departments.
Health officials say some private providers and pharmacies also have the vaccine available.
So far, 807,300 swine flu doses have been allocated for Mississippi schools, county health departments and private providers. Of those doses, 619,900 are injectable vaccine and 187,400 are nasal mist vaccine. Individual county doses are based on population.
The Health Department and private providers have also adopted schools and vaccinated students.
Another 500,000 school-aged children are expected to be vaccinated over several weeks.
Vaccine is being distributed to health departments based on population; call ahead to check availability at local health departments.
