DeLaughter, a former assistant district attorney and circuit judge, was indicted early this year with former Oxford attorney Richard "Dickie" Scruggs in an alleged judicial bribery scheme.
Scruggs pleaded guilty and time was added to his sentence from another judicial bribery case.
DeLaughter maintains he was not bribed, although he admitted lying to the FBI when it investigated accusations Scruggs had bribed him for a favorable ruling in a legal-fees case.
The Bar's disbarment motion was filed this morning. Additional details were not immediately available.
DeLaughter resigned his judgeship just before he entered his guilty plea.
He was sentenced to 18 months in prison.
