BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen has been reprimanded by the Southeastern Conference for criticizing the replay official who worked the Bulldogs' game against Florida.

Commissioner Mike Slive said on Monday in a statement released by the league that Mullen violated the SEC code of ethics.

On Sunday, Mullen said the replay official who worked the Bulldogs' 29-19 loss to Florida should be disciplined for not overturning an interception return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter by Gators linebacker Dustin Doe, who might have fumbled before reaching the goal line.

The replay official listed for the game in Starkville on Saturday night was Dan Dembinski.

Thats pretty harsh to have rules stating you can't complain about bad calls.

The TN coach is grasping at straws. Yea they almost beat AL, Almost. Being an AL fan still doesn't change the fact that AL tried its hardest to lose but the kick was luckily blocked clean. The helmet wasn't done in bad taste or sportmanship.

However, not being a MS STATE fan, I agree with the coach, that call was blown. That would have changed the whole dynamic of the next series of downs. FL may still have one, but it would've been really close. MS STATE had the position and chance to score 3 or maybe even 6. STATE and OLE MISS need to work on their quarterbacks, Snead can't deliver when it counts and Lee seems lost, heck I'll even throw AL in that group. Seems the defense had been pulling all 3 through.
