UPDATE: Chickasaw County man dies in ATV accident

SPARTA — Authorities say a Woodland man has died after a pickup truck struck the all-terrain vehicle he was driving.

Chickasaw County Coroner Andy Harmon identified the victim as 21-year-old Michael Holmes.

The accident happened Thursday night.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol is handling the investigation of the accident.
