"It was my understanding that the term of the former city planning commission expired with the former mayor and board," Stafford said. "If any one of the aldermen don't want to appoint someone they can, but most of us are new to this and we need to roll up our sleeves and get to work."
The planning commission will meet the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the board room.
