PHILADELPHIA, Miss. — The 2009 Neshoba County Fair will have political speaking scheduled July 29-30.

With 2009 being an off-election year, Fair officials are limiting political speaking this year to only incumbent officeholders who represent Neshoba County in either the executive, legislative or judicial branches of government.

So that means statewide elected officials will be sprinkled in among local judges and legislators.

The schedule for statewide elected officials on Wednesday, July 29:

— 10:40 a.m. State Auditor Stacey Pickering.

— 10:50 a.m. Attorney General Jim Hood.

— 11 a.m. Lt. Gov. Phil Bryant.

On Thursday, July 30:

— 10 a.m. Insurance Commissioner Mike Chaney.

— 10:10 a.m. State Treasurer Tate Reeves.

— 10:20 a.m. Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann.

— 10:40 a.m. Gov. Haley Barbour.
