OXFORD - The Ole Miss baseball team will find out more about its postseason future this afternoon.

Host sites for the four-team regionals and the top eight seeds for the NCAA baseball tournament will be announced at 2:30 p.m. at www.NCAA.com and at the news feed along the bottom of the television screen of ESPN networks.

The Rebels (40-17) remain in contention for a national seed though their case is weakened somewhat by two quick losses in the SEC tournament. The national seeds are guaranteed to play at home for the best-of-three super regional - the last step before the College World Series - if they win the regional.

Ole Miss last hosted a four-team regional in 2007, ending a string of four consecutive seasons in which it began the NCAA tournament at home.
