Tisdale to wed Schoolar in June

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Walter Tisdale Sr. of Aberdeen announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Mary Leigh, to John Patrick Schoolar of Hatley, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kendal Schoolar of Hatley.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Trussell of Gore Springs and Mr. William M. Tisdale of Aberdeen and the late Mary W. Tisdale.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Betty Ruth Schoolar of Louisville and the late J.L. Schoolar and Mr. and Mrs. Billy Price of Wren and the late Charles Buchanan.

Miss Tisdale is a 2001 graduate of Aberdeen High School and a 2005 graduate of Lambuth University with a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising and a minor in marketing. She also graduated in 2008 from Itawamba Community College with an Associate of Applied Science degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant. She is employed at Pioneer Outpatient Rehab in Aberdeen.

Mr. Schoolar is a 1998 graduate of Hatley High School and a 2004 Delta State University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Education. He is a teacher in the Aberdeen School District at Prairie and a high school football coach.

The couple will exchange vows at 5:30 p.m. on June 13, 2009, at the Elkin Theatre in Aberdeen with a reception to follow at the Aberdeen Golf and Country Club. No local invitations are being sent. All friends and family are invited.
