ICC sets baseball tryout for Sunday

The annual ICC baseball tryout for next year's squad will be on Sunday at 3 p.m. at Crubaugh Field.

All non-protected players, who haven't signed with anyone else, are invited to participate. For more information, calI ICC coach Rick Collier at 862-8118.

Fast-pitch teams sought

for development league

Area high school fast-pitch softball teams and players are being sought to participate in the Northeast Mississippi Fast-pitch Development League. Players can sign up with their team or individually.

The league begins play in late May and runs through June. Contact Will Lowrey at 871-9101.

Ripley needs basketball games

Ripley High School needs basketball games for Jan. 5 and Jan. 29, 2010. The Tigers are also hosting a one-day, boys-only tournament Dec. 19. For more information, contact Trent Adair 316-1532.
