The number six ICC Indians a the Holmes Bulldogs for a division showdown last Friday afternoon.
In game one, Ladarrius Cole led off the bottom of the first inning with a solo home run and by the time the inning ended, the Indians had scored six runs.
The Bulldogs scored five runs over the next six innings but the Indians walked away with a 7-5 game one victory.
Justin Bryant got the scoring going in game two with a RBI double to right in the bottom of the first inning.
Joseph Koon was on the hill and was pitching a one hitter until a solo home run to center in the third inning. The game was tied at 1-1 but the Indians answered in the bottom of the third to regain the lead.
Bryant led off the inning with a double, followed by an intentional walk on Dustin Lunn.
Josh Chism sacrificed the runners over and then Clint Alford hit a single to right, scoring two runs.
The Indians led 3-1 and that was all the runs Koon needed; however they gave him two more runs to take a 5-1 lead.
Koon only gave up three more hits in the game for a complete game five hitter, giving the Indians a 5-1 win and the sweep.
The Indians are now 16-0 in division but will travel to Moorehead today to take on the Delta Trojans for a division showdown.
The Indians have won 22 of their last 24 games and will return home Saturday against East Mississippi.
