Lee County Relay For Life

Saltillo is really getting excited about the upcoming Lee County Relay For Life event, which will be held in Saltillo this year.

On Friday, March 27, DB's Floral Designs and More hosted a Spring Open House along with a Relay For Life "Sidewalk Cafampé." They served hamburger plates with all proceeds going to the Lee County Relay For Life.

Throughout the Saltillo area, you will see several local fundraiser events taking place between now and June 12, which is the night of the actual event.

On April 24, the Saltillo City Park will be the location for a huge family event including a Saltillo Business expo, a hamburger supper, popcorn for the kids and a candidate speaking for those who have registered to compete for the chair as alderman for the next four years. Finally, we will host a huge and quite professional mayoral debate at the end of the evening.

Businesses who are interested in a booth at the business expo and politicians who are interested in speaking at the event may contact Debi Golebiewski at 869-3250 or Kevin Russell at 231-5011.
