Rivals.com reports record-setting quarterback Dylan Favre has committed to Miss. State.

In addition to a state title, Favre has several quarterback records in Mississippi history, including career total offense (14,175 yards), touchdowns responsible for (169) and touchdown passes (144).

This season alone he has passed for 5,539 yards with three 500-yard games (and a fourth for 498), rushed for another 1,228 yards, and is responsible for 81 touchdowns, including 63 through the air.

I dont know why because he has no chance of playing QB at State and he has said he will only go if he is the starting QB. Somebody has lied to him or he has lied to somebody.
