Not a lot of questions this week, but they were all timely, good ones. So I have what I hope are informative answers for you. Here we go.

Q: If any, which football players enrolled early to be practicing this spring?

A: Three junior college players signed last month and are in the fold: Defensive end Denico Autry, offensive lineman Dylan Holley and offensive lineman Charles Siddoway. Also enrolled is offensive lineman Justin Senior, who comes from Canada by way of Hargrave Military Institute.

That's according to my man Paul Jones of Bulldawgs247.

Q: Any update on Michael Carr?

A: I checked again with his old high school coach, Chris Chambless of West Point, earlier this week. He's not heard from the wide receiver in a while and has no idea what's going on with Carr. MSU has been vague about things. It's a mystery.

Q: When is the projected date to start the expansion of Davis Wade Stadium?

A: It'll be this year, but MSU hasn't pinned down anything more specific than that. Still hammering out details.

"People should not mistake silence for inactivity," AD Scott Stricklin said today.

The Canadian kid should be interesting. At least he has been in the states so maybe he will be better customed to our dialect down here. We had some French Canadians come down where I work and it was interesting for both sides getting through the accents.

Things are getting done the right way. All sports programs at MState are doing well. Byrne started it and Strickland has improved it.
