Amory woman indicted on embezzlement charges

An Amory woman was indicted on two counts of embezzlement, according to a press release from Amory Police Department Chief Ronnie Bowen.

Carmen Rosemary Byram, 55, 700 Bankhead Ave., Amory was indicted recently. She was arraigned Jan. 12 and a bond of $25,000 was set.

Byram worked at Wax Seed Company as an accounts receivable clerk.

Byram is free on bond pending court in Monroe County Circuit Court.
