JACKSON -- With Republicans capturing the state House for the first time since the 1800s, Appropriations Chair Johnny Strnger, D-Montrose, appears  to be resigned to his new lot.

Stringer doesn't expect to maintain the Appropriations chairmanship or the nice office in the Capitol that goes with it when the Republican take over on Jan. 3.

He recently joked, "If you want to see me, I will be down in the basement in my new office. Make an appointment because it just has one chair."

George Washington was a free-mason scumbag.

Jefferson saw through their chicanery.

Hamilton and Franklin were agents of foreign crowns.

THe court jews have finacned our wars, on both sides. Our fathers and grnadfathers fought, and died, for an illusion.

The truth is difficult, but we must wake up from the nightmare. The time is long over-due.

Maybe Steve Holland will be in the parking lot! You can find him around here in the nursing homes and hospitals.

Be careful what you wish for - you just might get it. The welfare will still be there but it will just go to the corporations.

Just pray that the churches will be able to handle the mess our state is about to go through.

Amen, brother.

You're just throwing your pearls in the pigpen. People like Tupeloeveryday are blinded to the fact that the rich control government spending to their advantage and will evidently always be able to convince people like TED that the poor and disadvantaged all getting all the money. That's the main reason they promote religion: If you're poor, seek your reward in the hereafter, because the people with the money are going to make sure they keep it.

Welfare was a good thing until people learned how to work the system and now it promotes irresponsible behavior. So many have discarded getting an education or working toward a promotion for a better position in the workforce. It's like some are "self-employed" in having babies in order to receive more benefits from welfare. Where are these fathers who should have to work and support these kids? I know plenty of people who had to be on welfare BUT who, in the meantime were getting an education so they could get off government hand-outs. I think the government should train recipients in some kind of profession during a five year limit on welfare.
