Gillentine-Green said the accident happened at about 7 p.m. Krosp died at the Lee County Medical Center at 1 a.m. today.
There are roadblocks ALL the time in Auburn! I know I go through 4-5 a month. They are usually set up between the 4 lane and the ballfields, and beteween Aunburn Baptist and Auburn Tan and Video. Every now and then they will be sporadically set up anywhere on Auburn Rd and even on 1498. Guess you don't go through there often?.
Why does it matter what the Coroners name is? Who cares? Atleast we have a good one and one that cares!
I say, if you really loved Austin, STOP AND THINK ABOUT THE WAY YOU ARE DRIVING DUDE! Killing yourself is no way to memorialize your lost friend.
If you are reading this, you were driving a pickup with a whip cb antenna in the center of your truck just behind the cab, with 4 tennis balls on the antenna to keep the antenna from scratching your paint, I believe your name is John as it was on another decal on your tailgate.
There is a song you can hear on youtube that says it well, "in a NEW YORK MINUTE" everything can change! please PLEASE think about what you do.
I am So sorry for this family's loss, I just hope that noone else close to this young man dies needlessly. dave_p
If the Coroner is now married to a Green is she suppose to hyphenate her maiden name or ex husband's name. if I was the ex husband I would want my name back.
She hyphenated her name.
My question is what in the world is the Coroner's name?
Is she a Gillentine or Green, please someone help me with this.
People see how fast they can go on the road where the fatal crash occurred Monday night. I would bet that every other car you meet out here is uninsured. Roadblocks are nonexistant in Auburn since the fatal roadblock that resulted in the chase that ultimately led to Harold Ray Presley's untimely death. It is an everyday occurance to see folks drinking from "brown paper bags" on CR 1145/1498 where the wreck happened. Speeding, no tags, children not in carseats,oh,yeah, it is out in Auburn.
Roadblocks are badly needed to check for licenses, tags, insurance, and seatbelts..not to mention drinking and/or drug abuse.
