sheesh guys...people would show up to see State play Alabama cuz real fans like to feel there is hope for their teams. Why do they show up for the games? Theoretically Bama will crush anybody they play but weird things happen...some of you guys are way too cynical...Roll Tide!

I don't see any MSU fans showing up for the Alabama game.. They know it will be but kicking so bad they will not want to show there face as a MOOU fan.. Now the EggBowl is a good game to show cause its totally deals the colleges in the state.. Ole Miss will Win the Egg this year.. GO REBELS!!

Right now it looks like the Ole Miss @ Alabama game is tentatively scheduled to be on CBS and the MSU @ Florida is "TBA".

It sounds like excellent planning for the businesses involved. When the scores go up in the wrong direction, the drinks sales will increase as well and that is were the biggest profit margins lie. If these games aren't scheduled for basic tv/cable, dedicated fans might take advantage of this option instead of buying a pay-per-view at home.

Sometimes fans are well aware that their teams are walking into a beat-down, but they choose to support the team anyway. I'll be doing that on Saturday when my FCS level UT Martin Skyhawks take on the Tennessee Volunteers. Of course, I am going to be sitting in the stadium to watch that train wreck.

Why would they decide to show the games where both teams will be completely blown out of the water? I mean come on. I understand showing away games, but Bama and Florida? While it is good for this venue to be available for fans to come together, why would anyone show up to see their team beat? Some one will make a fortune selling kleenex for the fans to use to dry up the tears.

Good idea, poor planning.

Will there be booths set up selling food, beer and other beverages? If not, I wouldn't expect to many viewers.
