The Lafayette County coroner's office says the investigation into Friday's death of Ole Miss football walk-on Bennie Abram is on-going, and there is nothing to report at this time.

Abram, a 20-year-old exercise science major, was pronounced dead at 12:11 p.m., at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford.

Ole Miss trainers noticed Abram struggling about 15 minutes into the workout, during the conditioning portion, before the start of classes Friday morning.

Trainers administered aid and called for emergency assistance, and Abram was taken by ambulance to the hospital.
