BATESVILLE — Manufacturer Parker Hannifin has announced an expansion in Batesville that will add 50 jobs.

Parker Hannifin makes power and motion systems that are used by industrial companies and the aerospace sector. The company also makes air conditioning, refrigeration and thermal systems.

It has 145 workers in Batesville, where it produces refrigerant control and containment components.

Plant manager Lisa Chism says the company got a new contract for products made in Batesville.
