We have a three-way tie this week for the cheapest gas in NEMS. We've had a two-way tie before, but it's the first time three cities have tied since I've been doing the gas survey.

According to our survey of NEMS gas stations, the cheapest gas today is in Fulton, New Albany and Sherman ($2.39/gallon of regular).

The state average, according to the AAA Daily Fuel Gauge (see it), is $2.57, still higher than at any point in 2009. But it's down five cents from last week.

Most expensive gas today in NEMS is in Oxford ($2.67).
