Not in Tupelo, but getting closer. Via Twitter (@wholefoods):

Whole Foods Market

We're excited to announce we've signed a lease in a state that currently has no store... We're bringing a new store to JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI!

From WLBT.com:

Whole Foods Market announced Wednesday that it will build a 30,000 square-foot store at Jackson's Highland Village shopping center.

The store will open sometime next year, according to Whole Foods spokeswoman Darrah Horgan. She did not specify where in Highland Village it would be located, but it will be a new facility from the ground up.

Horgan said it would create about 80 to 120 new jobs.
